Durham County Impact Fee Ruling

In a lawsuit filed in Durham County, a group of homebuilders sued Durham County over an impact fee which the County Commissioners enacted in September, 2003.  A judge ruled that Durham County improperly adopted a controversial fee requiring developers to help pay for school construction and ordered the refund of $2.2 million collected so far.

What has the Durham County ruling have to do with Cabarrus County?  Come find out as representatives from the North Carolina Home Builders Association explain what the lawsuit entailed and what will happen from here on.

Call Ann at 704-792-1133 or email ccbia@vnet.net to make your reservations today.

Reservations made and not cancelled by February 16th will be invoiced.
