First Quarter Meeting
The NCHBA First Quarter Meeting will be held on February 17th and 18th at the
Grandover in Greensboro. Committee meetings and a "Get Acquainted Reception" will
be held on Wednesday and the Board meeting will be held on Thursday, followed
by a Special 4-Hour North Carolina Builder Institute Credit Course, "Faces
of Survival" from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Contact me or NCHBA (800-662-7129)
to register. You must be registered to attend this class.

Graham - February 18th
CCBIA will present Chuck Graham at the CCBIA February 18th meeting at 11:30 am
at Troutman's Barbecue, 1388 Warren C. Coleman Blvd., South, Concord. The cost
is $10 and will include a lunch buffet. Chuck will talk about where the building
industry is headed in 2010 and what kind of recovery we can expect. Call me to
make your reservation!

NAHB and ASID sponsored a "Recession Remodel" contest
AARP, NAHB and ASID sponsored a "Recession Remodel" contest
recently and one of the two national winners lives
in Richfield, NC. NAHB and AARP are looking for all
types of trade contractors to work on the kitchen remodel
project as either volunteers or for reduced prices
in exchange for the advertising/exposure benefits listed
below. It's a great opportunity to receive both local
and national exposure for your business. If you are
